Sashiko Sit and Stitch Club
Take your sashiko stitching to the next level! There was a lot of excited interest in continuing with sashiko and so we hope to run this club the first Wednesday of every month. Each meeting you will be provided with a 6" square and be learning a new sashiko stitch. Over time this will build your stitch repetoire to include many advanced stitches as you continue on your sashiko journey. You are also welcome to bring a project you are working on for some help or inspiration. Sign-ups are on a monthly basis ahead of time.

Spring Beginner Class
Whether you have been quilting a long time or want to dive into the quilting world, this class is for you! Here is an opportunity to learn the correct techniques for reading a pattern, cutting, pressing, piecing, and fabric selection skills. Upon completing this class you will be able to pick up most patterns and feel confident enough to bring them to life.
Each week you will have in class instruction time as well as homework to complete for the following class. By the time the class is over you will have built a QUEEN size quilt top. You will be given all the help you need to get it quilted and bound at your own pace.
This pattern (available only to Beginner Class Students) requires a jelly roll and yardage for the background. Borders & binding will be picked near the end of the course.

Modern Japanese Rice Bag Workshop
Design your unique “Improv” layout from a FQ bundle.
A paper pattern and assembly instructions will be provided at the workshop. You will explore the “Improv” technique to cut, layout and sew together the body of the bag at the workshop. No two bags will be the same!Some Boro patches will be added to your design along with hand Sashiko embroidery embellishments. The instruction to finishing the bag will be handed out to complete at home after your embellishments are completed.
This a modern idea of the traditional Japanese rice bag “Komebukuro”. Tradition was that rice offerings were carried to festivals and ceremonies.
Yours can carry a special gift or be the gift! Also great as a tote for lunch, small objects, to hold hand stitching projects such as knitting, cross stitch, sashiko embroidery, toiletries, anything you feel useful. It can be made with or without an inside pocket. The small size makes the perfect size for children to carry their stuffies, toys, dolls and books. Spring Fairy Doll
Make a delightful Elf Doll with Monika. Personalize your doll with fabric selection and personal flair. The options are endless. She will guide you through constructing the doll, making the face and promises to give you all the information you need to finish the doll. Monika has made many many dolls and is a published artist. This class will give you a wealth of information to be successful at dollmaking.

Jelly Roll Pillow
Have fun making this 2 foot round jelly roll pillow in the fabric of your choice! Purchase a jelly roll or raid your stash. It’s great for yoga, kids floor pillow, fun bed pillow, anywhere in the home decor!
Class 1 - Construct your pillow pieces for the top and back. Rosey will walk you through all the stages and give you the confidence to complete your pieces for the next class. Option to add pompoms, or trim as desired.Class 2 -Finish your pillow. Learn how to add a zipper closure, assemble pillow and finish with a large center button.
